http://www.greatandhra.com/ganews/viewnews.php?id=15161&cat=15&scat=39Almost all surveys predicted a hung assembly in Andhra Pradesh, thanks to the entry of Praja Rajyam Party into the poll arena. However, they pointed out that the Congress would emerge as the single largest party in the state and it might require 10-15 assembly seats more to get the absolute majority.
According to CNN-IBN survey, the Congress would get 35 per cent of votes, whereas the TD would get only 28 per cent of votes, but with the addition of TRS and Left parties’ votes, it would reach 35 per cent. The Praja Rajyam Party would make all the difference with 14 per cent of votes and it will be interesting to watch which way it would tilt after the elections.
